Eating Well

Eating Well

Weight loss and frailty are not an inevitable part of ageing but it can happen – we are here to help you  understand more about steps that can be taken to minimise the risk of undernutrition.

Through groups and 1-1 support we’re here to help you understand how your nutritional needs can change as you get older and what you can do to maintain your health and wellbeing. We can help you explore specific barriers that could be contributing to your risk of undernutrition and/or dehydration, then provide preventative support and signposting to do with these factors, such as easy-preparation meals, food or meal delivery options, social lunches, and shopping support, as well as linking you into other services and activities.

George, Age 88

Having been stuck in the house for a week, I had already lost my appetite and was feeling low on energy. Ageing Well gave me some advice and recipes which were really helpful. I now have more energy and spend less time cooking but cook better meals which I enjoy.
